MIFX Plants Mangroves with CarbonEthics to Celebrate 25th Anniversary

To commemorate its 25th anniversary, MIFX (Monex Investindo Futures) marked the milestone with a meaningful environmental initiative. Together with CarbonEthics, MIFX planted 2,500 mangrove seedlings in Pulau Harapan, located in the Kepulauan Seribu region of Jakarta. The planting activity, held on 12 June 2025, reflects MIFX’s growing commitment to giving back to nature and supporting long-term environmental sustainability.


Rather than holding a traditional celebration, MIFX chose to mark the occasion through climate action. This initiative is part of the company’s broader effort to make a positive impact beyond its business operations.

Restoring Coastal Ecosystems in Pulau Harapan


Mangroves are vital for protecting coastlines, storing carbon, and supporting marine biodiversity. Pulau Harapan has experienced coastal degradation in recent years due to erosion, rising sea levels, and human activity. Through this mangrove planting effort, MIFX contributes to restoring the island’s natural defenses while strengthening the surrounding ecosystem.


The planting activity involved collaboration between the MIFX team, CarbonEthics facilitators, and the local community. Participants learned about the ecological importance of mangroves and were guided through the planting process. The experience not only supported environmental restoration but also fostered meaningful engagement with nature.
